Fahrenheit 451 Synopsis - Fahrenheit 451 is set in a future where the government control information, and in particular books and magazines are banned by the government. The people are encouraged through propaganda (fed to them through their television sets) to believe that books are evil. The lead character of Montag is a fireman - not as we would think someone who fights fires, but someone who is responsible for burning books and magazines that have been found. Montag initially leads a very comfortable life with his beautiful wife, but when he meets a woman, seemingly by chance, he begins to question his job, life and marriage.

Review of Fahrenheit 451 - A most brilliant film version of one of the best books ever written. Fahrenheit 451 starts rather unusually with narration of the credits, and carries on throughout with some beautiful camera work and vibrant scenery and sets. The acting is very restrained and this style serves the narrative particularly well. There are so may little oddities in this film (that I will leave for you to discover yourself) that makes this a truly special piece of work.
The reasons I recommend Fahrenheit 451 are: 1. It's a fantastic story. 2. The film is brilliantly and imaginatively shot . 3. The director and actors more than do justice to an original piece of work.
