Human Traffic Synopsis - Human Traffic is set in the Cardiff Club scene of the 1990's and centres around a circle of friends who are young and out for a good time, but each of the friends have their own problems. Jip is going through worry about his mother who is a prostitute, and also about his impotence. Nina is finding it hard to find a suitable man. Koop is worried about his father's mental illness and whether he will inherit his condition, and finally Moff who is trying to find his way in life when his parents disapprove of his lifestyle. Whilst on the surface and out clubbing everything seems fine, what happens when they start to come down? Will they be able to see things more clearly?

Review of Human Traffic - Human Traffic is an E film, and a rather good one at that. It makes a pleasant change to see the drug use treated in a balanced and realistic way. More importantly it shows the balance the characters need to attain in life. The film is imaginatively shot and the script makes the most of the relatively straightforward plot. The main cast are excellent and help lift this film above the "theme" film it could have turned into.
The reasons I recommend Human Traffic are: 1. Superb cast. 2. Imaginative shooting style which neatly fits in to the theme of dance culture. 3. A really good script which approaches the subject with great authenticity.
